Natalee Young Terkel: Training Your Dog and Being the Alpha

Natalee Young Terkel is a current student at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is studying to obtain degrees in both marketing, and computer coding. She has devoted her life to the betterment of her future by taking the necessary steps to enter the professional world ready for her career. Through her education, she will receive the necessary training and experience to enter her field poised to succeed.

In her spare time, she enjoys living an active lifestyle through yoga and various sports. She also enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd whom she cherishes. Training her dog took work, and she is always willing to offer people advice on how to train their own.

Training a dog can be a daunting task. If you walk down a street in any neighborhood around the world, chances are you’ll see dogs that haven’t undergone the necessary training. There are various methods to dog training, but a lot of it depends on the type of dog you have, whether it’s a puppy or adult, or its history.

One mistake people make with their dogs is that they forget about a dog’s basic instinct to control the group of people he or she is around most. Dogs are pack animals, which means they naturally seek a leader; if there is no one adequately filling that role, then they will take control on their own.

Natalee Young Terkel always tells people that they need to be the alpha role in their pets’ lives. A stern, but fair pack leader is something your dog will respect.
